When people think of a police state they usually think of East Germany's Stasi, Stalin's KGB or the Saudi Monarchy. A police state in America would look much different.
As the Bush administration calls for increased surveillance of the American public while defending the new tactics of torture and pre-emptive wars, many people jump to the conclusion that the American government is trying to impose martial law on the country. While they are correct in assuming that there are a lot of people in the government and military who have fascist tendencies, it's a mistake to think that the threat comes from the government, whose very purpose is to stop such a thing from occurring.
It was Calvin Coolidge who famously said, "The business of America is business." America's police state looks much different from the state-run totalitarian regimes we're used to. It has been privatized.
The internet is the most useful tool ever devised to keep records on people and their behavior. Technology has always been used to track the public, from the early census bureau card files to Thomas Watson's IBM computers which were used to track Jews by Adolph Hitler. Today, just about everyone in America has been identified and categorized. Private corporations know where the gays, the blacks and the Jews are. It's an easy cross-index in one of their huge data farms.
It's comfortable to bury our head in the sand and ignore the dimensions of the problem and hope that there's no one out there who means us harm. 9/11 taught us that we ignore such threats to our survival at our own peril.
Surveillance of the public is nothing new. I live in Southern California where the right wing kept files on anybody who was seen as a threat, from alleged communists to labor leaders to anybody they didn't like. The local businessmen were behind it, it was called the Better American Federation. Just a few years ago, the Los Angeles Police Department was caught with two and half million dossiers on Southern Californian citizens. The Chief of police was caught working with the John Birch society copying them. This information is documented in the book, "Suburban Warriors" by Lisa McGirr and also by the Los Angeles Times.
A troubling aspect of federal law is that there are strict guidelines in place governing the ways in which the government can collect information on its citizens, but there's a loophole that says they can use any information that a private company gathers on its own. That means the information collected by a company such as First American, is fair game and can be included in government research of its citizens . In the case of First American, that would includes drug tests, background checks, credit histories, and even illegal activities done with private detectives like surveillance, spying, and phone tapping.
Reactionary conservatives control mountains of information about you, from your school records to your medical history. The far right control the nation's credit bureaus, insurance companies, and title companies. They are the developers and builders of your community. Their banks know your financial transactions and they control the local police. They control who moves into neighborhoods and who gets what jobs. They play a huge part in selecting who gets into graduate schools and who will be allowed up the next rung of the economic ladder. Right wingers control the polls, telling us what America thinks, they are the owners of newspapers and media companies that filter our news. They even control the voting machines, America's ongoing scandal. The right wing has become the gatekeepers of American society.
The internet has just made it so much easier. You can be certain that there are people in the business world who have developed extensive files on liberals and other freedom loving people. Everything you write online, every person you communicate with, every thought you have can easily be swept up and saved. It's easy for these people to know what their opposition is thinking and doing, but it's equally easy to marginalize those they don't like.
There is a reason our neighborhoods are segregated and inner city schools are failing. There's a reason one out of four black men have a criminal record. There is a reason the left's leadership has been systematically eliminated over the years. It is easy to marginalize dissent and shape opinion.

Who Would Hillary Vote For?
I sometimes wonder, if Hillary Clinton wasn't in the presidential race, if she was just an ordinary person like you and me trying to decide who to vote for, whether she'd be a supporter of Barack Obama or candidate B.
It would be hard to ignore Obama's charisma, his sense of humor and his soaring oratorical skills. On the other hand, candidate B is a better debater and has more experience, although appearing slighly stiff and wonkish.
Candidate B has grown accustomed to limousines and the privileged high society life of five star hotels and luxury resorts. Obama has lived a life like the rest of America and knows the burden that college loans and gas prices have on the average person.
Hillary wants the troops home as soon as possible, good for her. There's no doubt then that she would support Obama who opposed the catastrophic war before it started, while candidate B actually made the war possible by voting for its authorization.
Candidate B is a polarizing figure that is disliked immensely by over half the country. While Obama calls for unity and has broad support, attracting Independents and Republicans.
Candidate B is a woman and Hillary would certainly like that. Women's issues are big with Hillary and this would outweigh a lot of other factors. However, she might feel that in order not to appear weak, Candidate B might get the country into even more trouble. She would have to weigh this against Obama who, with two little girls of his own, has plenty of reasons to promote women's issues.
Hillary would be very excited about the potential of having an African-American president. The positive effects on world opinion are incalculable. The effects that this would have in minority communities would be fantastic. It would affirm the American dream that we are all created equal and that anyone can grow up to be president.
Of course, Hillary would be pragmatic. If she thought America was still too racist to elect Obama, she might decide to vote for candidate B. Candidate B has more experience, has been through political wars that almost destroyed her Party, and has a phalanx of political professionals that can get down in the dirt with the best of them.
A lot of people want a president to be a positive role model. Obama has a beautiful family and it's easy to imagine him dancing happily in his wife's arms at the inaugural. Candidate B is a great person, but there are a few issues in her personal life that most people don't want to deal with. This is an easy one for Hillary.
Health care would be one of the biggest concerns for Hillary the voter. Candidate B has already had the chance of improving the nation's health care policies and failed. Would she think that candidate B would do better the next time, or would she want someone new to take on the challenge?
The biggest argument against candidate B is that she is part of a pair of political families that seem to have established a stranglehold on the White House. You would have to think that Hillary would not like to see a continuation of this, as it smacks of nepotism and dynastic privilege.
In the end, Hillary would make her decision based on what she think's is best for the future. Would she be more excited about an energized, youthful president with great leadership skills who's calling for change, or would she want to retreat to the safety of what's she knows and what she's comfortable with?
I think we all know who Hillary would vote for. Nobody really thinks Candidate B is the better choice. If things were different, it's easy to imagine Hillary Clinton being the loudest cheerer at an Obama rally.
Hillary helped build the Bridge to the 21st Century, but it's probably time she stepped aside and let pass the next generation who it's been promised to.

The Most Important Story You'll Ever Read
Urgent: Please pass this on to Barack Obama and the other presidential candidates, local law enforcement, government officials, and everyone else you know.
John Lennon was assassinated 27 years ago, one month before Ronald Reagan assumed office. That was a long time ago, but it should be a reminder to all people who work for change and promote peace that there are people out there who are willing to do anything to extinguish the flame of hope and turn this country in the direction of division and violence.
Before Lennon, there was Robert Kennedy, Martin Luther King, and John Kennedy. Over my lifetime, the entire leadership of the left has been systematically eliminated in a violent wave that resembles places like Pakistan and El Salvador more than it does the United States I thought I knew.
This article is the result of five years of work. There will be attempts to tear it down by ridicule and misdirection, but realize that it is intellectually sound and thoroughly researched. It took me years to accept what I now have no doubts about, so I understand how difficult a new reader will have accepting my conclusions. Don't back away, your country depends upon you.
The story is a simple one; the terrorism and violence Americans have come to accept over the last half century is the work of white supremacists and a neo-Nazi movement based in Southern California. The threat is real and ever-present. Because the next President of the United States will most likely be decided this coming Tuesday, it is imperative that we act now.
That's a lot to digest and I'm sure I lost a lot of people who've been conditioned to react to this topic by running to the hills with their hands over their ears, but if you care about your country, you'll hear me out. The facts are indisputable.
Most people don't know that the man who shot Ronald Reagan, John Hinckley was a neo-Nazi. The insane, Jodie Foster-loving assassin story is what's crazy. Read my article, Who Shot Ronald Reagan? if you have any doubts.
What about James Earl Ray, the man who shot Martin Luther King? Yes, it's true, he was a Nazi. Can you accept that, or does the word Nazi send you into fits of denial? If you want to know more read, What Are James Earl Ray's Connections to Southern California?
Would it surprise you that the man responsible for the Oklahoma City bombing was a disciple of William Pierce, the leader of the modern white supremacy movement? That's right, Timothy McVeigh was a Nazi. There's that awful word again. To understand what you're afraid of, you might want to read, What Do You Know About the Oklahoma City Bomber?
Robert Kennedy was gunned down in Los Angeles by an anti-Semite from Pasadena who had more in common with Adolph Hitler than the Beach Boys. Surprised? You shouldn't be by this point, but I suspect that the name Hitler threw you for a loop. Don't worry, I didn't make him up. Hitler's an actual historical figure who can be discussed without fear, and if you have kids you might want to, because most school shootings are carried out by his followers. Read, Whatever Happened to Sirhan Sirhan? to get up to speed.
Most people would rather believe the words of an assassin than their own common sense. Mark Chapman killed John Lennon and wanted us all to think he murdered his idol because he thought the peace-loving musician was a phony. If you think this is ridiculous, you're not alone. Chapman was a right wing racist who hated John Lennon from the start. Read, Who Killed John Lennon? to judge for yourself.
I hesitate to bring up the next name as I'm sure it will empty the room; Lee Harvey Oswald. I cannot convince you of this easily. No matter how I approach this subject, people run out of the room with their hair on fire. Suffice it to say, there is no doubt in my mind that Lee Oswald was a white supremacist. Judge for yourself by reading, Was Lee Harvey Oswald a White Supremacist?
Finally, I have a multitude of areas I'm pursuing in regard to recent terrorist incidents. It appears that the Nazi movement is alive and well and operating with Arab extremists. Read, Why Do We Call the Muslim Brotherhood al-Qaeda?, Is Khalid Sheik Mohammed Connected to the American Nazi Movement?, and What Was William Pierce Doing in the Last Years of His Life? to get a better idea of what I'm talking about.
The evidence is overwhelming and speaks to the urgency of acting quickly to prevent future terrorist attacks and assassinations. Spread this story! Immediately share it with those who might be victimized by people plotting murder as we speak. Share it with everyone you know and help stop more violent acts of political terrorism from occurring.

What Do You Know About the Oklahoma City Bomber?
On April 19th, 1995, Timothy McVeigh detonated 5000 pounds of explosives in front of the Murrah building killing 168 people. He was captured wearing a t-shirt celebrating John Wilkes Booth and he had a copy of The Turner Diaries beside him. McVeigh was a neo-Nazi racist and a follower of William Pierce. He was executed exactly three months before 9/11 for his part in the Oklahoma City bombing. Along with Terry Nichols, it is speculated that McVeigh had help from other Nazis, racists, and Islamic extremists.
McVeigh appears to be connected to Elohim City, a notorious Christian Identity settlement along the Arkansas/Oklahoma border. The ties to Elohim and the Oklahoma City bombing are numerous; McVeigh made a phone call there just before the bombing, the bombing was the same day that Elohim resident Richard Snell was executed for carrying out Turner Diary-type murders, and McVeigh had a relationship with Andreas Strassmeir, a neo-Nazi from a prominent family in Germany who lived at Elohim.
Strassmeir drilled hate groups who visited Elohim in military tactics, including the Aryan Republican Army and the Silent Brotherhood. He was quietly allowed to leave the country soon after the bombing and was only questioned over the phone nine months laster. The BBC reports that, "Strassmeir met Tim McVeigh at a gun show in 1993, Tim McVeigh had tried to call him on 5 April 1995 and the undercover informant Carol Howe said Strassmeir had plans to 'destroy the US government' with direct actions and operations 'such as assassinations, bombings, and mass shootings'." ATF agent Carol Howe, who could have provided evidence of Strassmeir's and Elohim City's involvement with the Oklahoma City bombing, were not allowed to testify in McVeigh's trial. Judge Richard Matsch ruled that her testimony was not relevant.
Most people are surprised to learn that Timothy McVeigh is a neo-Nazi. The media portrayed him as part of the militia movement, a religious fanatic, a right wing zealot, a drug user, a loser, as part of the survivalist movement that was sweeping the nation. Throw everything against the wall and hope it sticks. How about calling him what he was, an American Nazi.

Besides Andreas Strassmeir and the Elohim City neo-Nazis community, there are reasons to believe that the Muslim Brotherhood might have been involved in the bombing. If that's the case, it would be highly significant as it would link the American Nazi movement with Islamic extremists six years before 9/11. Top terrorist officials, including Richard Clarke, believe that there is a high probability that Terry Nichols met with Ramzi Yousef and the Muslim Brotherhood in the Philippines at Cebu City. It is speculated that Nichols, who was an incompetent bomb maker before his numerous trips, learned how to make the Oklahoma City truck bomb there. Additionally, there are many who believe that Jose Padilla was an accomplice to McVeigh as he matches the sketch of John Doe #2. Padilla is the U.S. citizen and accused terrorist that the Bush administration has labeled an “enemy combatant". Padilla is held under secret confinement so little is known about his possible involvement.

Whatever Happened to Sirhan Sirhan
Sirhan Sirhan, or S.S. as I like to call him, grew up in Pasadena. He went to John Muir High School where he was part of the California Cadet Corps. Contrary to popular belief, S.S. wasn't a crazy Islamic extremist. Although he was the son of a Palestinian immigrant, his family was Christian and he attended a Lutheran church in Pasadena.
Warning: Do not read this paragraph if you're upset by facts.
S.S. was a Rosicrucian. His journal was filled with Rocicrucian imagery and symbols like the swastika. By coincidence, Adolph Hitler was an initiated Rosicrucian. Rosicrucians believe among other things, that all blacks must die before man can evolve.
You may now continue reading.
S.S. was a small man and turned to the world of horseracing to make his living. He was a frequent visitor to Orange County where he'd come down to the Santa Ana River to train horses. He was a pretty good jockey, not great, but then he took a bad fall that damaged his brain and that pretty much ended his career.
Because of his horseracing accident, S.S. went to ten different psychologists. They report that it was easy to plant ideas in S.S.'s head. On a side note, Orange County is home to the study of false memories, UCI’s research on implanted and real thoughts is world renowned. Elizabeth Loftus can tell you all about it. Apparently, it's remarkably easy to get inside people's heads through simple hypnosis and create false memories.
The extensive therapy S.S. was receiving made him the perfect subject. He was easy to put under hypnosis and it became very easy for psychologists to manipulate his behavior. S.S.'s diary showed how mentally unstable he was and how he was becoming increasingly agitated and anti-Semitic. You just have to read his journals to see what he was thinking. Here was an assassin with a paper trail a mile wide.
S.S. hated Jews with the passion of Hitler. When RFK promised to support the Jewish state of Israel, Sirhan had had enough. One year to the day that Israel had inflicted a humiliating defeat upon the Arab countries in the Six Day War of 1967, S.S. tried to kill Robert Kennedy.
S.S. went to the shooting range and shot for hours beforehand to practice. He got himself drunk, consuming four Tom Collins in the hours before the shooting. After having his last drink with a woman at the bar, S.S. made his way toward the quickly approaching candidate in the crowded kitchen pantry. Witnesses saw him lunge at Kennedy firing wildly. Some claim that twelve shots were fired, S.S's gun only held eight. This fact is hard to determine because LAPD's Daryl Gates destroyed all the evidence. It's almost unanimously agreed that none of his shots delivered the fatal bullet however, which was fired within inches of the back of RFK's head.
When S.S. was captured, he looked to be drugged and seemed to be in a trance. After the assassination, S.S. wouldn't talk. Abraham Lincoln Wirin, chief council for the Southern California branch of the ACLU, was the first attorney to see the accused assassin. He visited S.S. daily in his cell, but never represented him. Wirin is best known for having supported the internment of Japanese and for defending Nazis and their right to march. There's a revealing quote about A.L. Wirin in regard to the other Kennedy assassination; "I say thank God for Earl Warren. He saved us from a pogrom. He saved our nation. God Bless him for what he has done in establishing that Oswald was the lone assassin-- even if he was innocent."
S.S. had plenty of people who wanted to defend him. F. Lee Bailey and Marvin Belli tried to get in, but Wirin made sure it stayed with the local talent. Sirhan's attorneys were Grant Cooper and Emile Berman, both former attorneys for the Marines. The judge was Herbert Walker, USC Law, a Republican appointed by Earl Warren. Additionally, the criminalist and psychiatrists were all out of USC. Hypnosis continued throughout the trial.
S.S. was sentenced to death, but because California repealed the death penalty for a brief time, he was resentenced to life in prison. Access to S.S. is extremely restricted.

Was Lee Harvey Oswald a White Supremacist?
Lee Oswald had a father and brother who were both named Robert Lee Oswald. All three had been named after their idol, Robert E. Lee, the Confederate General who fought to uphold slavery. It appears the Oswald family fought over the name Lee, each wanted the honor of being addressed as their childhood hero.
Lee Oswald grew up in the Deep South, in Southern cities like New Orleans and Dallas. These were some of the most segregated and racist cities in the United States at the time and undoubtedly had a strong effect on the young man.
When Oswald's family briefly moved to Brooklyn, the Southern Lee Oswald was referred to as The Rebel, pitted against the Northerners he called Yankees. Oswald had a difficult time in the integrated Brooklyn school system and stopped going to school there. After joining the conservative Air Force-run Civilian Air Patrol, he signed up to join the Marines at seventeen, the only service that didn't allow blacks in during World War II.
Lee Oswald's California connections run deep. He went through basic training at Camp Pendleton Marine Base. He was stationed at the El Toro Marine Base in Irvine, California, before and after his trip to Japan. Oswald planned his trip to Russia from Orange County, obtaining his passport in Santa Ana. Few are aware that Oswald was immortalized by his friend in the Marines, Kerry Thornley. Thornley was a member of the anti-Civil Rights group, the John Birch Society and had no doubt of Lee's real intentions.
Those who are confused about how Lee was able to get to the Soviet Union, commit treason, and return to the State's without consequence might want to read my post, "Did the LAPD Send Lee Harvey Oswald to Russia?" After the Soviets failed to believe Oswald's professed Marxist-Leninism, he returned to Dallas and became close friends with Robert De Mohrehschildt. According to Lee’s wife Marina, De Mohrehschildt became his mentor. She said Lee followed him around like a puppy dog. De Mohrehschildt was an interesting fellow who had the odd habit of welcoming people with the salutation, "Heil Hitler." According to the Warren Commission, he once gave a speech praising Heinrich Himmler.
There's no doubt that John F. Kennedy's assassin claims that he was a communist. I suppose you can take his word for it, but I tend not to believe what murderers say. One of the more revealing things about Lee Oswald was that his favorite television show growing up had been, "I Led Three Lives.” It was about a double-agent who infiltrated communist meetings, but who was actually a heroic anti-communist.
Oswald started acting like a communist at the height of the Cold War in a place where communist hysteria was the norm. I don't know if you're familiar with Orange County, but it's slightly to the right of Atilla the Hun. Orange County's Congressional seat was held by a member of the John Birch Society. It was probably the most conservative and reactionary place in the nation. Orange County kept files on anybody who was seen as a threat, from alleged communists to labor leaders, to anybody they didn't like. It's hard to imagine Oswald acting the way he did there and getting away with it. It's not as if you have freedom of speech when you join the Marines either.
You've got to put yourself back in those times to get a clear picture. As a teenager and young man, Lee was an eyewitness to the the Civil Rights battles being fought in the South. The early 1960’s was a period when Civil War anniversaries were being celebrated almost daily. The Confederate flag was raised and waved more fiercely against Civil Rights demonstrators than the American flag was waved against the communists. It's easy to imagine the reaction of a Southerner, like Lee, seeing a Northerner in the White House who's taking away state's rights and sending troops to Alabama for the first time since Reconstruction. He would have been flabbergasted to see Martin Luther King marching on Washington and giving his "I have a Dream Speech". He undoubtedly cheered when he heard about the the Montgomery Church bombing that killed four little girls.
Texas was a Confederate state, the last battle in the Civil War was fought there. There are reports that Oswald was seen trying to suppress black voters in Louisiana. Lee was the Deep South, probably the most segregated place in the country, a place where the lowliest of lows, men like Oswald, could feel superior to African-Americans and, ultimately, the President who he felt supported them.
After killing the President, Oswald was arrested proudly wearing his Marine Corps ring. Inside his address book was a number for Alexandria, Virginia. The number was for the American Nazi Party, George Lincoln Rockwell's outfit. After his death, his mother viewed Lee as a hero. She once said, "My son has done more for his country than any other living human being." His grave is marked by a Christian cross.
It's curious that there aren't any books extolling the theory of Oswald being a white supremacist. There seems to be every imaginable theory out there in the thousand or so books on the JFK assassination, but none that I can find that asserts what I believe to be the most obvious theory of them all. But don't believe me, believe one of the biggest racists of all time, Birmingham, Alabama's sheriff, Bull Connor. Connor knew what he was saying when he called Lee
Harvey Oswald, “a Southern hero like John Wilkes Booth." There can be no doubt that Lee Harvey Oswald was a white supremacist.

Should There Be Another Scots-Irish President?
Many are surprised to learn that at least 35 of the 42 American presidents have their roots in Ulster Ireland. That's over 80%. After the Civil War, there was an uninterrupted period of Scots-Irish presidents for 63 years straight! Since World War II, 56 of the 63 years have seen the White House controlled by a Scots-Irish man.
Who are the Scots-Irish? They are Scottish people who settled in Northern Ireland before coming to America. They are Protestants whose roots go back to Oliver Cromwell and William of Orange. They are very clannish and proud of their Scottish roots. This explains Bill Clinton's affinity for the Bush family and Ronald Reagan and Richard Nixon's close relationship.
It is strange that so many of our presidents come from such a small location on the planet as Ulster-Ireland. What does this fact portend for the future?
First, it explains why Rudy Giuliani never had a chance. The Scottish media would never allow it. (Chuck Todd, Charlie Rose, Chris Wallace, Harry Smith, Anderson Cooper, Candy Crowley, Lou Dobbs, John King, Glenn Beck, Campbell Browne, Britt Hume, Cynthia McFadden, Terry Moran, Jake Tapper, Charlie Gibson, Diane Sawyer, Brian Williams, John Harwood, Pat Buchanan, Andrea Mitchell, Mark Potter, Chip Reid, Jim Lehrer, Michael Duffy, Jamie McIntyre, Kyra Phillips, Nic Robertson, Shephard Smith...)
Second it explains the annointed front runners of Hillary Clinton and John McCain. Barack Obama, John Edwards and Mitt Romney have Scottish blood too. Take it farther and you'll see that John McCain has the upper hand. The others, a woman, an African-American, and a Mormon, have obvious weaknesses.
Maybe you've noticed the orange ties and the orange scarves. These candidates have chosen orange as their fashion statement for a reason. The Orangemen of Ulster have a long history understood by many voters. It is also why Hillary chose KT Tunstall, a Scottish lass, to sing her campaign song.
The Scots have had their time in the Oval Office. I say it is time for a change. NO MORE SCOTS-IRISH PRESIDENTS!
I'm sure you've heard it before, the American presidency is the domain of old, white males. It is in fact, the domain of old, white men of Scottish background. There have been no Italian, Greek, Spanish, Norwegian, Russian, Slavic, or French heritage presidents. It is a mistake to tar all white men for the stranglehold that the Scots-Irish have on the presidency.

Who's Responsible For Changing the Party of Lincoln into the White Man's Party?
Most people know Herbert Hoover as one of the worst presidents in the nation's history, a conservative Republican who led the country into the Great Depression. If they only knew the real impact Hoover had, they would be shocked.
Up until Herbert Hoover, a majority of African-Americans had supported the Republican Party, the Party of Lincoln. Hoover changed all that with his Lily White Policy, a plan devised to get African-Americans out of the Republican Party and bring in the white Southerners. He's responsible for developing the Southern strategy that Nixon, Reagan and Bush would later embrace. He turned the party of big business into the white man's party.
Herbert Hoover was a white supremacist. He believed blacks were inherently inferior and wanted to get rid of any blacks from positions of authority and power in the Republican Party. Hoover's racism is manifest in his response to the great Mississippi Flood of 1927, his Supreme Court picks, and his use of patronage to strip blacks of power. He even fought against anti-lynching laws.
Another example of Hoover's racism is how he selected General Douglas MacArthur to reorganize the army and then watched over as the most famous black military unit in the country was eliminated. He also forbade blacks from the Air Corps and enforced segregation in the military. W.E.B. DuBois, the founder of the NAACP, saw Hoover as a "sinister enemy of the black race."
Hoover's racism extended to other groups as well. It was Hoover who deported over two million people, many of which were legal American citizens. Anyone with a Mexican-sounding name had their property confiscated and were shipped to Mexico City.
Hoover was a trained geologist and one of the first graduates of Stanford University. He holds a special place at the horse farm where the Hoover Institute carries out his vision. Few people are aware that they keep the actual day books written by the Nazi commandants of German concentration camps at Stanford's Hoover Institute.
Herbert Hoover had a special relationship with Adolph Hitler and met with him in 1938. He had become a quiet supporter of the German fuehrer. Hoover would oppose America’s involvement in World War II and fight against FDR’s Lend Lease program to aid Britain. He assured everyone that Hitler would soon conquer Europe and it was better to be his friend.
Hoover was the behind the scenes power of the America First movement, leaving the public face to the freshly scrubbed aviation hero Charles Lindbergh. According to FDR, there could be no doubt that Lindbergh was a Nazi. Lindbergh was finally exposed when he gave his famous anti-Semitic, America First speech in Iowa. After the speech, which blamed the Jews for the world’s unrest, Hoover invited Lindbergh up to his hotel suite at the Waldorf Astoria and praised him. The two would later engage in discussions of impeaching Roosevelt.
FDR hated Hoover, but Harry Truman rehabilitated the man's tattered reputation. When Nixon became vice-president, Hoover had an open line into the White House and slowly built back his power. Hoover was the kingmaker who made deals and promoted the people who thought like he did. He became the liason between Wall Street, the military, corporations, and Washington insiders. He gained enormous power operating from his hotel room at the Waldorf-Astoria in New York City. Hoover would live to be 90 and outlive practically everybody.

Why is Oliver Stone Making a Second Movie About George W. Bush?
If you have the HBO/Cinemax package, you've no doubt noticed the Oliver Stone marathon going on. Seems like they're showing JFK, Alexander, and Natural Born Killers on an endless loop. Stone announced last week that his next project would be a bio of the current president. Why the remake? I mean, I saw the original. It was called Alexander. It starred a bunch of Celtic actors portraying Greek warriors who spoke with heavy Scottish brogues.
Before I get ahead of myself, I should note that I have a contrarian view of who Oliver Stone is. While most people view Stone as a Hollywood liberal, I find no evidence that this is true. His glorification of violence, power and war are easily seen and his choice of films betrays his bias; Conan, Nixon, Talk Radio, Wall Street. I even hear he wants to make a film of Ayn Rand's Fountainhead.
The worst of all, however, was Stone's movie, JFK. Anybody who wants to know what theory Stone really believes only needs to watch the first five minutes of the movie. Here's a link to a clip which gives away Stone's real beliefs. The rest of the movie is just right-wing conspiracy theories to confuse the issue mixed in with lies and pornographic images of the assassinated president.
I wrote an article on how the John Birch Society was behind most of the assassination theories if you're interested.
Back to the subject at hand. Why is Stone intent on making another movie about "the most powerful figure in the world" (his words) portrayed by an actor with "the same drive and charisma" as Bush? It seems redundant. The movie Alexander was his salute to Bush.
Stone views Bush as the modern incarnation of Alexander the Great, the man who came closer than anybody to conquering the world. Follow the story of Alexander and you will understand Bush's motivativations and aspirations.
Alexander's empire was based on individual freedom and the spreading of democracy. He is best known for his invasion of Babylon, modern-day Iraq, and his victories over the Persians, modern-day Iran. The Greeks hated the Persians who burned Athens to the ground. They had battled them at Marathon and were under constant threat of attack. The Greeks dreamed of conquering Asia and extracting their revenge. Alexander was the man who carried out the dream. Like Bush, Alexander felt he was chosen by God and could do no wrong. The parallels are unnerving.
If this is a simplistic view of history, remember that Bush has a simplistic view of history. The mystery number 322 is meaningful to Bush because 323 B.C. was when Alexander died. 322 represents the start of a new Empire, the American Empire, which will be grander than anything Alexander could imagine.
Some have said that Stone distorts history, but if you look carefully, you'll see that he is accurately depicting events. Why he disguises his views and spreads misinformation is a question only he can answer.
With this in mind, watch Bush's State of the Union. Watch to see what he says about Persia. Don't be surprised if has his mind set on trying to make history once again.

Who Shot Ronald Reagan?
The storyline goes that the man who tried to assassinate Ronald Reagan, John Hinckley Jr., was just a loser who tried to kill the President in order to impress a movie star. In fact, Hickley is a far different man than the rest of the country has come to know.
Hinckley grew up just a few miles from Dealy Plaza in Dallas, Texas. Lee Harvey Oswald was his hero. He was a very good athlete and extremely popular in school, elected class president in seventh and ninth grades. He went to Highland Park High School, the Fighting Scots, a highly segregated school in the most affluent part of Dallas.
John Hinckley was a mama’s boy. His mother, Jo Ann Moore, spoiled him and he developed into a right-wing racist. He hated blacks and Jews and had a fascination with white supremacist groups, reading as much as he could about them. He joined the National Socialist Party of America, the Nazis, and went around wearing a storm trooper uniform and marching in Nazi rallies. He was a big fan of Lincoln Rockwell. At one point he even formed his own terrorist
group to fight minorities called the American Front. He wrote that the American Front was, “for the proud white conservative who would rather wear coats and ties instead of swastikas and sheets." He pursued the same agenda as David Duke.
Hinckley came from a very wealthy and conservative family. His father, John Hinckley Sr., was president of Vanderbilt Energy and one of George H. W. Bush's biggest financial supporters. The Bush family knew the Hinckley’s very well. In fact, Neil Bush was scheduled to have a dinner with John Hinckley’s brother, Scott, the day after the assassination. Both Neil and John spent a lot of time in Lubbock, Texas. Hinckley went to Texas Tech in Lubbock from 1973 on, never
graduating, while Neil Bush ran George W’s 1978 Congressional campaign from Lubbock.
Hinckley was a frequent visitor to Hollywood, California. By his own account, he saw the movie Taxi Driver fifteen times (one should always believe what a white supremacist says). The FBI pursued a possible California conspiracy, but considering the parties involved, it was easier to label Hinckley a nut.
It’s interesting how Hinckley's movements parallel with Karl Rove’s. From Denver to Texas to Southern California, Rove and Hinckley traveled the same paths. Rove's connections to SoCal go back to his early days when he worked for USC's Donald Segretti, one of the original rat fuckers. The Hinckley family was also big on Chuck Colson, giving John the right-wing hatchet man's autobiography to help straighten him out.
Hinckley created a well documented cover story which he maintains to this day. When Jodie Foster entered Yale, Hinckley moved to New Haven, supposedly to be close to her. He repeatedly harassed her with messages and phone calls, which he made sure to tape record.
Before shooting Reagan, Hinckley made one last visit to Hollywood. He stayed for just one day before taking a bus to Washington D.C.. He then went to the Hilton Hotel and waited for Reagan to emerge, drew his German automatic handgun, went into a crouched marksman stance, and emptied six rounds of exploding Devastator bullets at the newly-crowned President. Reagan survived and George H. W. Bush had to wait another eight years to become president.
They caught the guy dead to rights so there was no way Hinckley was going to get off. Rather than have a full airing of the events come out, the defense shifted the debate to whether Hinckley was sane or not. Mental issues became the real trial. It became a sham; Jodie Foster was brought into it, quacks were arguing in circles, and the real story was lost in the shuffle. Hinckley was eventually judged not guilty by reason of insanity.
Even if you discount all the Bush coincidences and motives, the question needs to be asked, why hasn’t John Hinckley’s neo-Nazi past come out? By proclaiming that the attempted assassin is insane, you are absolving every terrorist in America of their crime, because, by definition, all neo-Nazi’s are insane.
Hinckley is currently allowed release from prison for up to four nights at a time, under the supervision of his parents.

Who Killed John Lennon?
John Lennon was assassinated 27 years ago, one month before Ronald Reagan assumed office. That was a long time ago, but it should be a reminder to all people who work for change and promote peace that there are people out there who are willing to do anything to extinguish the flame of hope and turn this country in the direction of division and violence.
John Lennon was gunned down by a klansmen and religious evangelical who became increasingly radical and turned to the neo-Nazi movement. This isn't the story you've been told, but it is the truth. The media will tell you how crazy Mark Chapman was, how he was a loner with no friends who hated his father, and they'll describe how he was a disenchanted fan of John Lennon who had grown to despise the hypocrisy of his former idol. All wrong.
Mark Champman was born in Ft. Worth, Texas, the son of an Air Force officer. At seven he moved to Decatur, Georgia where his father worked for the American Oil Company. You'll have to take the assassin's word that Chapman had a bad realtionship with his father because everybody else claims that they were very close.
Mark Chapman was never a fan of John Lennon. Ever since Lennon said the Beatles were more popular than Jesus, the Ku Klux Klan and the religious right were out to get him. They burned the band members in effigy throughout the South and staged protest rallies where Beatle albums were burned in bonfires. Chapman lived a stone's throw from Stone Mountain, the infamous Klan stronghold.
When Lennon came out with his song Imagine, Chapman and his friends joyfully sang it with new lyrics; "Imagine John Lennon is dead!" The idea that Chapman was ever a Beatle’s fan is an out and out fabrication.
Chapman was a right wing extremist who traveled constantly. After a stint in Lebanon, Chapman’s hatred of communism was cemented working with South Vietnamese refugees in Ft. Chaffee, Arkansas. From there he followed his girlfriend to Covenant College, a strict Presbyterian college founded in Pasadena, California. Chapman went to Hawaii for a while and then traveled the world. He went to Japan, Korea, China, Thailand, India, Iran, Israel and Switzerland. Then he got married to Gloria Abe, a travel agent from Hawaii.
Despite being only a hotel armed security guard, Chapman was able to live it up, buying expensive artwork by the likes of Salvador Dali and Norman Rockwell. Then he went to New York and, after an expensive dinner at the Waldorf-Astoria, he went out to case his target at the Dakota apartment building. He couldn’t make himself do it the first time and went back to Hawaii where he became increasingly radical. He started carrying out neo-Nazi activities, making threateningphone calls and calling in bomb threats. He got a kick out of harassing the Hare Krishna’s in Honolulu.
On his last trip to New York, he summoned up the will to kill Lennon by repeating, "Do it, do it, do it" over and over again. After the assassination, Chapman sat down on the sidewalk, took out his copy of Catcher in the Rye and waited to be arrested. Ironically, the book Chapman claims to be his salvation, blasphemes God over two hundred times.
What ever happened to Mark Chapman? He shaved his head and became a skinhead in prison.
Chapman had plenty of friends, contrary to what you hear about his angst and alienation. His friend David Moore helped facilitate his travels, Dana Reeves supplied him with the hollow-point bullets used in the assassination, his best friend, Michael McFarland, gave him the infamous book, Catcher in the Rye. They were all part of the conservative evangelical Christian movement sweeping the Bible Belt.
USC's Swastika Lampposts
Here is a better image of one of USC's swastika lampposts. I find it interesting that these were the same lampposts, or the same style lampposts, that surrounded the Ambassador Hotel , the hotel where Robert Kennedy was assassinated in 1968. The Ambassador Hotel was about two miles away from the USC campus, it was demolished about a year ago. I do not know when the USC swastika lampposts were installed, but the Lyon Center is a fairly new building.
Why Does USC Have Swastikas on Their Campus?
A while back, I was on my way to a University of Southern California basketball game at the General William Lyon University Center when I spotted a Victorian-style lamppost. Taking a closer look at its olive-green base, I was shocked at what I saw. The decorative trimming that encircled the base of the lamppost was so politically unfathomable that I had to catch my breath. In clear sight of the multitude of people walking past was displayed the repeating pattern of swastikas! The swastikas were joined so they formed a pattern, an unmistakable repeating pattern, that is the universal symbol of Adolph Hitler and Nazism. I think there were four other similar lampposts that circled the perimeter of the building.
I don't know what shocked me more, the fact that swastikas were there at all, or that no one had ever noticed them before. Afterall, the lampposts were next to the McDonald's swim complex, a location that hosted the world's Olympic swimmers and divers in 1984. These were old lampposts, clearly they'd been there long enough for multiple generations of students and administrators to notice them.
I would learn later that the Lyon Center was named after General William Lyon, an Orange County builder and developer worth billions who was formerly head of the Air Force Reserve under Ronald Reagan. Apparently, Lyon has the odd habit of collecting controversial items, like Adolph Hitler's staff car. He lives in a huge anti-Bellum style mansion in South Orange County and owns two Bell helicopters.
Even a neophyte knows that a swastika, in any form, is a symbol of hate and not tolerated in America. Yet, here they were, displayed in plain sight, on one of America’s elite campuses. I thought it strange that USC would have swastikas on its campus. Why does USC have swastikas on its campus?
William Lyon is a large force in Southern California, not only for his ability of turning bricks and sticks into million dollar homes, but for his backing of San Diego’s many diploma mills. It turns out that San Diego is the center of the diploma mill industry. I learned this when the man who housed the two San Diego 9/11 hijackers, Abdussattar Shaikh, claimed he was the vice-president of one of Lyon’s quasi-colleges. Shaikh was an FBI informant who the 9/11 Commission considered the best chance America had of stopping 9/11.
Many are familiar with Lyon's company, William Lyon Homes which has become a fixture in communities like Phoenix, San Diego, and South Florida. Lyon also joined into a partnership with another Orange County billionaire, George Argyros, to buy Air Cal airline which later merged with American Airlines.
Sometimes I get to thinking about 9/11 for no apparent reason. I think about how the pilots trained in Phoenix, San Diego and South Florida. I think about how they were given critical information to help them, insider information the average person wouldn’t know. For instance, the hijackers knew that wealthy Saudis wearing jewelry received less notice and so they bought expensive items to wear. They knew that box cutters were allowed on American Airlines and that the pilots opened their cockpit doors fifteen minutes into the flight. They also knew that Boeings are easier to fly and have an auto pilot that allows the plane to be crashed into the ground.
Sometimes I start thinking about how the nation’s air defenses were virtually nonexistent on 9/11. I start thinking how lucky the hijackers were that practically every protection devised to prevent such an attack was thwarted. NORAD was nowhere to be found, McGuire and Andrews Air Force Bases couldn’t be bothered to respond, and the nation was left completely vulnerable to attack. My brain starts racing and I think about Operation Northern Vigilance, a war game which might have aided the attackers by diverting possible responders. I sometimes wonder if it was luck, because only someone intimately involved with the Air Force would know of such things, not a bunch of Arab terrorists.
Where was I? Oh yeah, USC swastikas. Why does USC have swastikas on their campus?

South Carolina-- The Most Racist State
We all know that South Carolina has a dismal history when it comes to how it's treated African-Americans, but few are aware just how racist South Carolina's history really is.
There are few places in America that have treated Native Americans as brutally. South Carolinians were the largest slave traders of Native Americans in the Americas. The peaceful Cherokee were either enslaved, driven out of the state, or murdered.
South Carolina became the wealthiest of the thirteen colonies because of the African slave trade. Charleston Harbor was the main entry point for bringing slaves into the country. No other colony relied on slaves more, and soon blacks outnumbered whites. By 1760 Charleston was the richest town in America. Despite its wealth, residents lived in constant fear of slave revolts and resorted to draconian measures to keep their slaves in submission.
After the Stono Rebellion occurred in 1740, one of the deadliest slave revolts in the nation’s history, South Carolina reacted with the slave codes. Because the rebellion was led by educated blacks, laws were put into place that prohibited blacks from meeting and mandated that their children wouldn’t be allowed schooling. In the Twentieth Century, South Carolina would have the largest percentage of its people in America who couldn’t read or write, mainly due to its determination to keep blacks uneducated.
The Scottish Rite was created in direct response to the successful slave revolution in Haiti. Its original location is at Shepherd’s Tavern in Charleston. The Scottish Rite led the anti-Catholic, anti-immigration Americanism movement that revived the KKK. They became enormously powerful. In 1928 for example, 59 United States Senators and 317 members of the House of Representatives were 33 degree members of the Scottish Rite. Later, the exclusive club fought against integration and the Civil Rights movement.
The first Baptist church in the South was formed in Charleston, South Carolina. Southern Baptists supported slavery and believed that biblical scripture supported it. It wasn't until recently, that the church moved away from this position.
On April 12th, 1861 cadets from The Citadel fired the first shots against the United States at Ft. Sumter, South Carolina. That was when South Carolina became the first state to commit treason and leave the nation due to its absolute support of slavery.
Walk through Charleston and you'll run into the Confederate Museum run by the Daughters of the Confederacy. It's disturbing how many Confederate memorials there are, but since the Confederate flag flies over the state’s capital, it is not really surprising.
You'll also see people flying a blue flag with a crescent moon and a Palmetto tree on it. That’s the flag for the Palmetto Republic. People who fly it are calling for the independence of South Carolina. Organizations like The League of the South call for the independence of the old South, along with the repeal of affirmative action, attacks on immigration, the revitalization of Anglo-Celtic culture, and the return to a white Christian state.
It is difficult to imagine a state with a worse record on how they've treated their fellow human beings than South Carolina. To think that the South Carolina primary is one of the big ones that determine our president is hard to believe.

There's no doubt why Bush went to the race card in 2000 and the Clinton's did this year. It's a mistake, however, to think that Americans are racist because of a few voters in South Carolina. Obama won't get white voters in South Carolina for obvious reasons, but that doesn't mean the rest of the country feels the same way.
It is difficult to imagine a state with a worse record on how they've treated their fellow human beings than South Carolina. To think that the South Carolina primary is one of the big ones that determine our president is hard to believe.

Liberal Blogs = Censorship?
I'm new to this blogger thing so forgive me if I haven't quite caught up with the rules. In the last few weeks I've attempted to comment on other people's blogs four different times. Only two have seen the light of day.
The first time was when I replied to someone's article at the Huffington Post. My comment appeared, finally-- 3 days later! By the time it showed up, I had lost total interest in the topic and everyone else had deserted it too. It doesn't seem that a blog should moderate comments in this way.
Last week, I made my second attempt at participating in blogs by responding to a post at the Daily Kos. Within minutes, the entire thing was erased and my response thrown out like so much trash.
I finally had some success when I read a post by Eugene Washington at the Washington Post and followed it up. Life was looking up. My opinion really did matter.
Feeling enthusiastic that my voice might actually mean something, I found Paul Krugman's blog at the N.Y. Times the next night and jumped right in. Unfortunately, my post never appeared-- another pending approval situation. 83 other people had their voices heard, but my insignificant comments vanished as if they never existed.
I'm astonished that many of these media gatekeepers call their sites blogs. If you withhold, delete, or never publish people's posts, you are, in effective, censoring and shaping the news. I wonder how often this happens? What's really disturbing is that these are supposedly the open-minded and liberal establishment. They appear to be less interested in having opinions heard than the right wingers they allegedly are against.

What are Peter Ueberroth's Connections to the RFK assassination?
In 1968, Senator Robert Kennedy was murdered right after giving his California presidential primary victory speech at the Ambassador Hotel in Los Angeles. Orange County's Richard Nixon would become president instead of the surging Kennedy.
Daryl Gates, an Orange County resident and chief of the LAPD, was in charge of security. He removed all police from the scene claiming someone told him that Kennedy did not want LAPD there. Gates would work closely with Ueberroth in staging the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics.
Rafer Johnson, one of Kennedy's bodyguards, hung back, allowing Sirhan to charge Kennedy. Johnson was the first to get the murder weapon, though it somehow got back into Sirhan's hands. Strangely, Johnson refused to hand over the weapon until he got to police headquarters, keeping it in his pocket until hours later. Rafer Johnson would go on to work with Peter Ueberroth at Ambassador's International, kind of ironic, seeing the trauma he must have endured when his idol was shot down at the Ambassador Hotel. Ueberroth would later pick Johnson to light the Olympic torch at the L.A. Coliseum.
The armed security consisted of Thane Eugene Cesar. Cesar once said, "I definitely wouldn't have voted for Bobby Kennedy. His brother John sold the U.S. down the river. He literally gave it to the Commies, the minorities, the blacks." Cesar was an associate of Robert Maheu, Howard Hughes' personal attorney and the former president of the Irvine Company. Peter Ueberroth was also president of Donald Bren's Irvine Company.
The first person to testify at S.S.'s trial was Paul Ziffren. Ziffren was the man instrumental in picking Ueberroth to head the Los Angeles Olympics.
The trial of S.S. was really just a big USC trial. The lawyers, the judge, the criminalist, the psychiatrists were all out of USC. Peter Ueberroth is a life trustee of USC.

Many in Southern California have wondered how Ueberroth, the owner of a small travel agency, rose to so much prominence in such a short time, and it's interesting to note his connections to such a pivotal event in SoCal history.

What Was James Earl Ray's Connection with Southern California?
James Earl Ray was a Southern boy who idolized Adolph Hitler. He carried his picture with him and was a passionate believer in Nazi ideology. He was an overt Nazi when he was in the Army and wanted to be stationed in Germany because he genuinely believed he could revive the Nazi Party there. He loved Germany and German culture.
Ray was convicted of armed robbery on his first visit to California, but only spent 90 days in the L.A. County jail. Ray spent time in a lot of different jails over the years, falling in with neo-Nazi groups. Ray was a racist who wanted to kill blacks, all of them.
After escaping from a Missouri prison, Ray made his way to Southern California with the dream of becoming a pornographer. Instead, he became a passionate Republican, a virulent racist, who fit right into the Southern California landscape. He was a huge fan of Joseph McCarthy and Barry Goldwater.
In Los Angeles, he tried to rebuild his image and establish himself. He had plastic surgery to get an aquiline nose, took dance lessons, attended bartending school, and even went to a psychiatrist to be hypnotized. James Earl Ray was a regular in Hollywood the six months before he shot Martin Luther King.
James Earl Ray used the alias John Galt, the name of the protagonist in Ayn Rand's book, "Atlas Shrugged". The right-wing Ayn Rand Institute is in Irvine, California. Ray made a number of trips to Orange County where he'd meet up with the Free Rhodesia Committee. Ray wanted to go to Rhodesia and fight a white supremacist war with Ian Smith, and he used the Southern California John Birch Society to try and do it.
He worked for the segregationist George Wallace and General Curtis LeMay. The far-right LeMay lived in Newport Beach and ran as Wallace's vice-presidential candidate in 1968. Ray was very active at the Los Angeles campaign headquarters for Wallace.
Martin Luther King visited Anaheim in February, 1968. Ray left Southern California and tracked King to Memphis where he shot him with a high powered rifle on April 4th. He then tried to escape to Rhodesia but was captured in London. He then confessed to the assassination.

Are the Clinton's Going to Destroy the Democratic Party?
If you were around in the 1990's you watched Bill Clinton marginalize the Democratic Party. Everything and everyone he touched seemed to go down in flames, yet he is still standing. The Clinton years are best remembered for the rise of Newt Gingrich and the worst Democratic defeats in the Twentieth century. His successes, like welfare reform and NAFTA, would have made a Republican proud. His failures of securing universal health care, of uniting the country, and allowing genocide in Africa are troubling.
Bill Clinton brought his personal foibles to the White House. Who can forget his impeachment, his lying under oath, or his unethical relationship with a White House intern? Who can seriously think that the American public wants to put the Clinton's back into the White House?
The Clinton machine is churning away, attacking and destroying everything in their path. They will stop at nothing to try to win. Just the thought of men like James Carville, Howard Wolfson, and Lanny Davis hell-bent on winning at all cost makes most voters sick. They will undoubtedly win the Democratic nomination through a climate of intimidation, back room deals, and dirty politics, but the Party will be left in ruin.
Forget about the Republicans, there are too many Democrats who hate the Clinton's. They hate the thought of America being run by dynasties, they hate the thought of America having to relive the sex life of Hillary's disgraced, red-faced, spouse. A vote for Hillary is to guarantee a Republican victory. It will mean a huge Republican turnout and a depressed Democratic one, denying the great Democratic sweep that would otherwise occur.
Whether the Clinton's intend this or not, that will be the result. The troubling thing is, I think they do know, and they just don't care.

Has Scotland Taken Over the Presidency?
What do almost all the Presidents of the United States have in common? Almost all of them have their roots in one tiny portion of the earth, Ulster, Ireland. According to my calculations, at least thirty-five of the forty-two presidents are of Scots-Irish descent, that's over eighty percent. (Scots-Irish are Scottish immigrants who settled in Northern Ireland).
The first five presidents of the Twentieth century came from this one small area of the earth. From Teddy Roosevelt at the turn of the century to Howard Taft, Woodrow Wilson, Warren Harding, and Calvin Coolidge, they were all Ulster-Scots.
Herbert Hoover interrupted the streak, becoming the first German president elected, followed by FDR who was Dutch (historically very close to the Ulster-Scots- remember William the Orange?).
Give 'em hell Harry Truman was pure Scots-Irish. Dwight Eisenhower's dad was German, but he was Scots-Irish on his mom's side. Kennedy was Irish (which doesn't count). JFK's abbreviated presidency was followed by the Scots-Irish Lyndon Johnson. Nixon was full blooded Scots-Irish. Jimmy Carter was the last non Scots-Irish coming from England. From Ronald Reagan to George H. W. Bush, Bill Clinton and George W. Bush, we've had a succession of presidents with ties to Ulster.
The Bush family is well known for their Scottish roots. The "W" stands for Walker, and the Walker clan goes way back. As a kid, George W. would go to Scotland in the summer and play with Tony Blair, another Scotsman. The Bush's are very proud of their Scottish heritage.
The Nineteenth century is even more shocking. Every President after Lincoln to the turn of the century was originally from Northern Ireland. They were all Scottish! The facts are clear, Andrew Johnson, Ulysses S. Grant, Rutherford Hayes, James Garfield, Chester Arthur, Grover Cleveland, Benjamin Harrison, and William McKinley were all Scots-Irish. That means from Lincoln to Hoover there were 63 years in a row of Scots-Irish Presidents!
Abraham Lincoln? He's a mystery. Most think he's from England, but there's lots of disputes about his background. Some say he was illegitimate. He always downplayed his family's history and never really told anyone.
Most ofthe Indian-fighting Presidents were Scots-Irish, many born in Orange County,
Virginia. You had James Madison, James Monroe, John Quincy Adams, Andrew Jackson, William Harrison, John Tyler, James Polk, Zachary Taylor and James Buchanan, they were all Scots-Irish. It appears that only Martin Van Buren, Millard Fillmore, and Franklin Pierce weren't.
It's interesting to know that the presidential anthem, "Hail to the Chief", is based upon the Scottish idea of giving absolute power to the clan's chief. It was selected by Julia Tyler, wife of President John Tyler, to give him a sense of authority. The idea of giving absolute authority to the president is a uniquely Scottish one.
If not for George Washington's selflessness, the Scottish-Americans in Virginia would have installed an absolute ruler in the style of a Scottish clan chief. The plantation owners of Virginia liked the idea of a single supreme leader and a strong executive branch, but this sounded too much like a king to Washington and he strongly rejected it. Washington, of course, was a former Tory military man of English stock.
John Adams was the first President with Scots-Irish blood. As a Northerner, he was able to work with the Southern plantation owners and forge a union between the disparate interests of North and South. After Adams came a succession of Virginia plantation Presidents lstarting with Thomas Jefferson, another man of Scottish ancestry.
It's curious that so few know that most of our presidents come from such a tiny portion of the earth. I don't suppose it would go over very well with the American people. The presidency has been described as a domain for old white men, when in reality, it is the domain of old white Scottish men.

Can We Trust Marcos Moulitsas and the Daily Kos?
Tonight was the first time I've paid attention to Marcos Moulitsas' popular liberal blog, the Daily Kos. I was reading an article someone posted about Hillary Clinton's recent remarks where she praised Lyndon Johnson for passing the 1964 Civil Right's Bill. The article pointed out the contradiction that Hillary was actually a supporter of Barry Goldwater, an ardent opponent of the landmark legislation. It was all factual and not controversial in the least.
What follows was very disturbing. I watched as a landslide of Clinton supporters ridiculed the mild post. Then, as I was reading the comments, the post vanished into the ether of cyberspace right before my eyes!

It is obvious that Hillary Clinton has hired an army of bloggers to shoot down any story that might harm her. Fair enough. What bothers me is how Marcos Moulitsas appears to be part of the effort.
So I did some checking. Moulitsas grew up in the "lily-white Chicago suburb of Schaumburg", Illionois. Like Hillary Clinton, Moulitsas was a Republican well into his twenties. He says, as "a 17-year-old precinct captain in 1988, not even old enough to vote, I helped deliver one of the district's best precinct performances for Henry Hyde. I had a framed picture of me with George H. W. Bush."
Moulitsas went on to join the Army where he was stationed in Germany and learned to speak German. Of his experience he says, "The military is perhaps the ideal society." He claims to have switched political parties after leaving the army and went on to get a law degree from Boston University.
He applied to the CIA and after 9/11, decided to start the Daily Kos. He then went on to work for Howard Dean's ill-fated presidential bid. Moulitsas is currently under fire for his participation in alleged voter fraud for his article published January 10th, Let's have some fun in Michigan. Moulitsas is advocating that Democrats help elect Mitt Romney.
It is clear to me that Moulitsas is censoring posts and has a political agenda. If I didn't see it, I wouldn't have believed it. Which makes me think what else he might be up to. How did he get so much power? Is his site a way to track liberal opinion and shape the Democratic Party? Dare I ask the obvious question? Is the Daily Kos a government front to monitor dissent? Can we trust Marcos Moulitsas?

Why Did Mitt Romney Choose the Henry Ford Museum to Announce his Candidacy?
Seeing Mitt Romney campaigning in Michigan today reminded me of his strange decision to announce his candidacy at the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, Michigan.
To be fair, people of Romney's age were brought up believing that Henry Ford was one of America's greatest citizens. Since then however, the real truth of Henry Ford has been revealed. Henry-Ford.org is a good place to start to find out who the auto pioneer really was. There are plenty of books on the subject if you're sceptical of internet information.
There is a reason Henry Ford bought the Dearborn Independent newspaper to spread the lies of the Protocols of Zion. There is a reason that Henry Ford is the only American mentioned in Mein Kampf. There is a reason he received Germany's highest honor, the Grand Cross of the German Eagle on his 75th birthday. There is a reason Hitler had a life-size portrait of Ford behind his desk. Henry Ford was one of the world's great anti-Semites and wanted to see every last Jew exterminated.
This must be known by someone as well-versed as Romney. There can be no excuse for using the Henry Ford museum as a backdrop to his candidacy, except perhaps that Romney is seriously uneducated, willfully ignorant, or extremely tolerant of racists like Henry Ford and the legacy they've left.

Did the LAPD Send Lee Harvey Oswald to Russia?
In the book, Chief: My Life in the L.A.P.D., Daryl Gates writes that the Los Angeles Police Department had a special intelligence unit that ran a program which sent American spies to Russia, totally clandestine and under deep cover. This was during the during the same period when Lee Harvey Oswald made his strange trip to the Soviet Union. A natural question arises; was the accused assassin part of the program?
A few words about Daryl Gates are in order. Gates went to University of Southern California on the G.I. Bill. He worked closely with the infamous Police Chief Bill Parker. Gates is a notorious right winger. He was in charge during the Watts riot that occurred five days after the Voting Rights Act passed in1965. Despite his failures during the riots, he was considered an expert on riots and riot control and helped prepare other police chiefs for the riots that would occur in other parts of the country. He worked with the Marines at Camp Pendleton to find the best snipers. His policies were viewed as racist and led to the Rodney King beating and many other abuses of police power. He was also in charge during the second Los Angeles riot. Even someone as famous as Peter Ueberroth was not afraid to ask the question, "Is it true that Daryl Gates is a Nazi?" It was Gates who started S.W.A.T, Special Weapons and Tactics, which put military weapons into the hands of the police. He was behind the Drug Awareness program for kids called D.A.R.E which educates kids in the inner cities about drugs and how to use them.
Two interesting facts emerge when studying Daryl Gates. The first one is how interested he was in Lee Harvey Oswald and the JFK assassination. Just a few hours before Oswald was murdered by Ruby, Gates was on the phone talking to the Dallas Police Department. The second one is that he was in charge of Robert Kennedy's security at the Ambassador Hotel the night of RFK's assassination. Actually, there was no security. Gates kept the police away claiming somebody told him Bobby didn't want the LAPD there. The Los Angeles Police would burn most of the photos related to the assassination before Sirhan's trial began. Then Gates kept the case secret for twenty-five years. When he was forced to release the files, he had destroyed most of the evidence.
Many have made the claim that Lee Harvey Oswald was sent to Russia by the CIA, when it could be as simple as a group of private citizens or a local agency like the LAPD behind it. The LAPD was extremely anti-Communist in those days. It had secret divisions investigating subversives which kept huge files on private citizens. If Oswald was recruited by the LAPD it would show him to be a right wing operative, not the communist many claim him to be.

Do You Believe There was a 9/11 Conspiracy?
Pretty crazy right? But I do.
I believe that 19 hijackers conspired to hijack four planes and fly them into four different buildings.
Oh wait, is that a conspiracy theory? Sounds like a conspiracy theory. Am I crazy for believing in conspiracies then?
Of course not. Every thinking adult knows that conspiracies are a routine part of life. It's how cliques are formed and business is run. Every prosecutor worth his salt knows how to charge people with conspiracy. It's one of the government's greatest ways of prosecuting people for crimes they commit.
9/11 was a conspiracy. The government made the case and the public readily accepted it. So what makes a crazy conspiracy theory?
Crazy conspiracy theories are theories that the majority of people don't believe. So how do you get a majority to listen to a new theory that by definition is crazy because nobody knows about it yet?
Newspapers and books might advance it, juries and governments might legitimize it, a skeptical public might accept it, but all must be open to asking the question. Asking questions is what Rakemucker is all about.

Why do we call the Muslim Brotherhood al-Qaeda?
Khalid Sheik Mohammad, the man who organized 9/11, joined the Muslim Brotherhood at age 16. Mohamed Atta, the Egyptian who headed the Hamburg Cell, was part of the Muslim Brotherhood. Ayman al-Zawahiri, the Egyptian who leads Bin Laden around by the nose, is Muslim Brotherhood. 9/11 was a Muslim Brotherhood plot through and through.
The men behind the first World Trade Center attack in 1993, Ramzi Yousef and the Blind Sheikh, are Muslim Brotherhood. The Egyptian who wrote the Islamic extremist's terrorist manual, Ali Mohammed, is a member also. Mohammed was behind the bombings of the United States' embassies in Kenya and Tanzania. Practically every terrorist incident in the last thirty years has been an act by members of the Muslim Brotherhood. That includes the assassination of Anwar Sadat, the Luxor Massacre which killed 58 tourists, the attack on the USS Cole, and the Millenium Plot. So what's all this about al Qaeda then?
America was bombarded with the idea that al-Qaeda and Osama Bin Laden were to blame for 9/11 and every other terrorist attack. Al-Qaeda was responsible for the rise in Islamic terrorism, they said. Not so, I’ve discovered. The real group that Americans should have been focused on was the Muslim Brotherhood, a radical Islamic group born, raised, and nurtured in Egypt.
The more you look at al-Qaeda, the less you find. There’s nothing there. Apparently, al-Qaeda is a name created in the United States. Any group that wants the same things as the Muslim Brotherhood is labeled al-Qaeda.
Although, the United States has tried to implicate al-Qaeda in some six degrees of separation kind of way, the evidence is overwhelming that these attacks were carried out by the Muslim Brotherhood, and a small group at that. The idea that there is some giant enemy lurking on the horizon is a fabrication. Most of the people responsible have been caught. They were well known by American intelligence and many of them were trained and funded by the United States.
It is obvious that Osama bin Laden and al-Qaeda are used to deflect attention from the Muslim Brotherhood. The reasons for this are obvious if you choose to look.

Can Mormonism Escape Its Extremist Past?
The Mormon religion has their own 9/11 story. On September 11th, 1857, a man named John D. Lee led a massacre of Arkansas settlers. It was an act of religious vengeance and 120 people were murdered in cold blood. Lee, who was very close to Brigham Young, an adopted son in fact, became known as the Terror of the West. Extremism has been a part of the church since the beginning.
In the 1800's, Brigham Young institutionalized racism in the Mormon Church for the next century. The Utah territory chose to side with the Confederacy and supported the institution of slavery. Mormonism was a racist religion and believed that blacks were cursed by God. They believed in the Curse of Cain and the Curse of Ham, they preached it, they taught it, it was accepted, it was the word of God. It wasn’t until 1978 that the Mormon Church decided blacks could be full members and the Curse of Cain was nullified.
The Curse of Ham is still in effect though. It's a story that's been used to legitimize slavery and justify terrorism in the name of God before the Civil War and later during the Civil Rights struggle.
Many associate Mormonism with polygamy. Both Joseph Smith and Brigham Young believed, without reservation, that polygamy was a fundamental tenet of the church, so it’s natural that many followers see the practice as part of God’s plan. This has been renounced by the current church hierarchy, but that doesn't stop many Mormons from following the religious dogma their founders established. These polygamists can be very brutal, kicking young men out of the community and taking child brides. Child rape is a common occurrence with brides as young as thirteen being taken against their will.
There can be no doubt that Mormonism has a checkered past. Former heads of the church have been extremists who’ve been members of the John Birch Society and who fought hard against Civil Rights. Mormons have established a quasi-theocracy in Utah, a far right state where political advancement is almost totally dependent on religious orthodoxy. Mormons support the far right agenda and it remains in question whether they can escape their extremist past

Has Osama Bin Laden been killed?
On November 11th, 2007 Benazir Bhutto said that Osama bin Laden has been murdered by Ahmed Omar Saeed Sheikh. That was two months ago. Since then Bhutto has been assassinated, shot to death by unknown extremists, sending Pakistan into chaos. This story has been getting a lot of attention around the world, but has been ignored in the United States. Since then, the BBC has redacted the portion of video in question. Bhutto might have meant to say, "Saeed Sheikh, the man who murderd Daniel Pearl," instead of saying Osama bin Laden, but it appears to be the only verbal gaffe the eloquent woman made in the entire interview.
Who Are the Clintons?
One clue might be Bill Clinton's relationship with Pamela Harriman, the wealthy Democratic activist who helped make Clinton president. Harriman died in 1997. "She was a longtime patron of Clinton's going back to his days as Arkansas governor, and has raised millions of dollars for the Democratic Party. "
It is probable that Clinton met Harriman early in his career as they were moving among the same social circles at Georgetown, Yale and Oxford and shared common political beliefs. Pamela Harriman was especially interested in making sure that abortion be a prime component of the Democratic Party. This is a position the Clinton's fully support, see Clinton Again Vetoes Abortion Ban.
This aspect deserves closer scrutiny. Abortion is closely connected to population control, an issue that was certainly important to Pamela Harriman. She married into the Churchill family and named her son after Winston, a passionate believer in eugenics. Click for an opposing view of Winston Churchill.
Pamela went on to marry Averill Harriman, another huge backer of eugenics, and political godfather to the Bush dynasty. The Bush's were the leading proponents of population control in the 50's and 60's.
Along the way, she became friends with Unity Mitford, meeting Adolph Hitler in 1937 as a teenager. Abortion has been labeled a women's rights issue, but it has always been pushed by advocates of eugenics. Margaret Sanger, the founder of Planned Parenthood, was a backer of negative eugenics, the idea that certain people should not be allowed to reproduce.
The Clintons have worked to promote population control around the world, defending abortion as a human right. This is a position shared by those in the eugenics world who see the birth of other races as regrettable. Combined with Bill Clinton's inaction when it came to the genocide in Rwanda and the mistruths he says about it, one has to wonder if Bill Clinton is who he says he is.
We know Hillary was a right wing nut at one time and is currently a tireless advocate for birth control and abortion rights around the world, we know that Bill Clinton has sided with the Harriman and Bush aristocracies, which have promoted racial division and the dangerous ideology of eugenics, is it wrong to draw a line connecting them all together? Who are the Clintons.... really?
